Biography

Ronaldo Ramos Umali, fondly called Onat, was born on March 4, 1972 in the town of Montalban, Rizal. His is the son of former Barangay San Jose Chairman Antonio J. Umali and Carmen Evangelista Ramos. He studied in San Jose Elementary School from 1979 to 1984. Then went to Roosevelt Memorial National High School from 1986 to 1991. He then took up Marine Engineering course at Technological Institute of the Philippines from 1991 to 1993.

                His political career began when he won seat in the Sanggunian Bayan of Montalban, Rizal on May 13, 2019 election, and was re-elected in the recent May 9, 2022 national and local election.

                Since 2019, he led different committee at Sangguniang Bayan such as:

  • Committee on Ways and Means
  • Committee on Transportation and Traffic Management
  • Committee on Senior Citizens
  • Committee on Public Works
  • Committee on Peace and Order
  • Committee on General Services

Also, Konsehal Onat was a recipient of “Excellent Leadership as a Public Servant” given by the Barbie Group, ‘We Share, We Love, We Help’. He is also a member of the Board of Directors in the present crop of officials of the Philippine Councilors League – Rizal Chapter.
