MSSION STATEMENT

– The Municipal Engineering Office aims to consistently work for institutionalization of bureaucratic reforms that will ensure effective delivery of public good and services and build a trust-worthy relationship between the service provider and its clients.

VISION STATEMENT

– The Municipal Engineering Office is a local government body perpetually providing technical knowledge with efficient, transparent, and accountable public service delivery to an investment-friendly environment and has successfully eliminated red tape in the government.

OBJECTIVES

The Municipal Engineering Office aims:

To supervise overall works pertinent to building/infrastructure in its responsibility and shall be in-charge with the processing of all permit applications and certificates as well as the issuance of the same;
To administer, coordinate, supervise, and control the construction, maintenance, improvement, and repair of roads and bridges and other engineering and public projects if the local government concerned;
To provide engineering services to the local government concerned including investigation and survey, engineering design, feasibility studies, and project management; and
To exercise such other powers and perform such other duties and functions as may be prescribed by law or ordinance.
