The Youth and Sports Development Office aims to motivate and channel particularly the youth interest into fields of worthy endeavors, geared towards enhancing self-worthiness, developing, leaders, boosting athletic prowess, instilling discipline, encouraging team spirits, friendly competition and sportsmanship for a progressive personal and community growth. 

Mission 

The Youth being the hope of our nation must be guided and motivated towards positive growth and enhanced ethical values in its capacity as the Municipality’s arm in Youth Affairs, the YSDO must provide a continuous and systematic program to augment inherent and acquired skills, pursue worthy projects, strengthen relationship with youth organization and NGO’s disseminate and coordinate municipal plans and project.
