• MISSION STATEMENT

– The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office mission is to instill municipal-wide disaster awareness thru tri-media and other means of communications and to mitigate the impact of natural and/or man-made disasters or calamities thru undertaking of pre-emptive measures with our partners and coordinate response and recovery operations in order to protect the people, economy and adaptive to climate change to ensure a disaster resilient municipality.

– A municipality that is fully capable, well-prepared, and with resilient community ensuring effective and efficient implementation of civil protection programmed through an integrated, multi-sectoral and community-based approach and strategies for the protection and preservation of life, property and environment.
