Known as a man who is true to his words and principle, and a public servant who is sensitive to the needs of people and his constituents. Thus, he was continuously being supported by Montalbeños as evidenced by his three-term stint–a total of nine years in public service as Municipal Councilor from 2010-2019. After a full term, he worked as Head of the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office.
He was born on September 9, 1973 into a family of humble beginings, the third son of Rodolfo Lazarte and Virgina Lazarte. His father worked as elementary principal, and his mother worked as a teacher of Technology and Livelihood Education.
Raised by a teacher, his childhood memories include going to school with his mother and being exposed to the rudiments of school scenario. Deck finished his basic education from the Burgos Elementary School and the Marikina High School.
On college, he took up Diploma of Technology at Marikina Polytechnic College in the year 1992. After graduating, he worked in private companies for 5 years and eventually ventured in businesses such as the trucking industry and pizza/food business. As a family man, he is responsible, supportive and caring.
Eventually, he happily built his own family with Mrs. Bernadette J. Lazarte. Now, they are blessed with two children.
In 2002, his calling for public service was set off when he was elected as a barangay kagawad of Manggahan. He held significant committees such as appropriation, health, education, and peace and order. His two-term as kagawad lasted on 2010. After which, he was elected as Municipal Councilor. During his term, the Municipality of Rodriguez was awarded with “Seal of Good Local Governancet” in promptly delivering services to the Montalbeno. His top priority programs were inclined in environment, education, livelihood, labor and employment
And now, faced with a broader, brighter opportunity, Mr. Lazarte continues to adhere his Advocacy of good governance, high regard for people, and a passion to serve.
